AMAZOLAR

Brightening Futures with
Sustainably - Powered Education
in Ecuador

What is Amazolar?

We are a social enterprise and non-profit centered in Ecuador working to promote online education for communities with limited academic, economic, or technological pathways. We aim to collaborate with local partners to offer resources and support, while focused on building trust, community voice and capacity to realize their educational aspirations.

The Amazolar Path

  • 1) Community Engagement

is prioritized to build partnerships with local communities through trust, and work together to recognize existing community assets.

  • 2) Renewable Energy

is implemented in the community, to ensure a sustainable and reliable source of power, autonomous from the electric grid.

  • 3) Online Education

is introduced through a program centered around technological and academic education to expand the communities' ability to create their own opportunity.

  • 4) Self-Sustaining Community

had been developed and given periodic check-ins to make sure they remain in the path of sustainability and self-sufficiency.

Building a network of community partners.

We are not in this alone, and only as a collective can we achieve the outreach and impact for change. By enhancing collaboration and interconnectedness among local organizations in Education, Solar, Internet, and Employment sectors, Amazolar bridges the existing gaps to create a unified mission.
